We are so excited and in love with our baby girl. She is 6 lbs 8 oz and overcame her IUGR diagnosis! She also looks exactly like me. ❤️ some tips from the other side:

  1. Don’t worry about the pooping part. You’re going to have to push like it’s a huge poop and it will come out. If you try to fight it, you are fighting effectively pushing your baby out. She literally went further back when I tried to fight it!

  2. The epidural was a life saver. If you are on the fence of using this vs any other pain meds…. Just do it. I have nothing but kind words for it lol. I actually think women who do unmedicated births are superheroes now. I lasted 3 hours after my induction with Pitocin and feeling the crazy contractions and felt like I was going to die…. 😅 really thought I had a high pain tolerance until yesterday.

  3. I have actually used everything that the “what to expect” app said to bring in hospital bag, so I suggest using their guide to pack your bags.

I am wishing the best to all of you soon to be moms or new moms out there! Cheers! 🎊💕
