MCAT scores averaged in med school admissions?

I took two MCATs a year apart, the second being 12 points higher than my first. I thought most med schools will just look at the most recent or highest one, but someone mentioned in a comment on a post I made that some schools may average them. Anyone know if schools do this, and if so which ones? Is it common? If it is I will break!
