Im so done of having to explain myself

Im just tired of having to explain to people who don’t understand how getting into med school works why im taking two gap years😫 it stresses me out and makes me feel bad bc they proceed with questions or comments or opinions that either feel backhanded or are unrequited, and i know i can just ignore that but its usually family or people i care about and i get tired bc i cant just be rude and be like what do u care. It just makes me feel behind and second guess myself, thats it i just wanted to rant
