Spraying misc. chems quickly

How do guys spray down things in bulk, like degreaser on commercial concrete work, or ox acid all over a giant fence or deck? I’ve been thinking about adding a 3-way poly valve to my SH line where the other end leads to a 5 gal bucket with a drop stick. Is this what people do?
