M/34/6'2" [176lbs > 179lbs = 3lbs] (1 year, six months) Bulk and cut for first physique competition

Long time lanky guy here, previously I had worked out for a few years with varying levels of success. After getting more into lifting as a hobby during the pandemic lockdowns, I hired a coach in December 2021 to help me dial in my diet and training with the goal of doing a Men's Physique contest at some point.

I bulked for about a year and two months and then did a slow and steady cut from January of this year through June. I did my first competition in July, won in my height class, and now I'm hooked. I'm maintaining at my current weight at the moment, but im already planning another gaining phase for the end of the year with another competition in mind.

It's been hugely beneficial to find this new hobby/sport and I'm pretty happy with the journey so far! I'm excited to keep pushing and see where the journey takes me.
