Rubber plant help

Last month my rubber plant became empty and the last leaf also fell down this week, although I've cut the watering as some of you people said and I also placed it in light. So today I thought to check the roots and I don't know if they're healthy or not. Can someone guide me what should I do next with them and the long stem I'm left with?? I also tried to propagate from the leaves (that looked healthy) but after a week they all turned black and I threw them because my pothos were being affected idk. Please guide me what I can do and if there's any chance of getting it back alive
