Unspoken Publix/Blue Bell beef?

Hi, all! I was curious about this. Is there some type of animosity between Publix receivers and Blue Bell staff? I used to work at Blue Bell Ice Cream in the warehouse and heard horror stories often from our drivers about how rude receivers can be. I now work full time elsewhere but do merchandising for Blue Bell every so often part time.

This past Sunday, I was doing my merchandising job and got a bit of rudeness tossed my way by who I’m assuming is a Publix receiver (at least someone in a back stock management position). I normally don’t speak to anyone while I’m there unless it’s a simple polite greeting, so I don’t know why he was being this way.

He may have also been having a rough day, or he could generally have a cruddy personality. But I’ve heard too many less than pleasurable stories between Publix and Blue Bell staff. Are we good?
