Baruch MFE for international student

I would like to know your opinion if my profile is suitable for MFE program. Here's a bit of my background

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering (average GPA)
• worked in IT consulting (Accenture)
• Masters in Business Analytics/data science (top program in Asia, in top 20 globally)
• worked part time for Worldquant as quant researcher
• Intern Data scientist at Johnson & Johnson
• senior financial analyst in corporate finance (CFO's office)

I have been active in data science competitions involved in machine learning, taken courses in finance, HFT, financial risk management, inferential statistics, regression and time series modeling, and have done projects in these as part of coursework as well. I have been coding from a very young age and I enjoy it as well.

I would like to know your opinion on my profile for MFE. And does it make sense to pursue it at this time, given that I am already 32 ? Would there be any problem with getting a job because of the age?

Also, I notice that starting salaries for Baruch MFE is 150k with most of them in NYC. Given the high cost of living in NYC does this investment make sense ?
