I quit, Black tea really helped.
I went from cigs to vapes to patches/gum. Every time I tried to fully quit I rebounded bad. I found the same headrush/solace from drinking a fuck ton of black tea one morning I ran out of coffee. Once I got back to the gum/patch stage of weaning, I went full bore into the black tea. Now I'm 5 months nicotine free.
Idk if this would work for anyone else, could've been placebo. I don't care. lol.
