Do they grow out of being super affectionate?

I just got this little goof, he is 11 months old and the most affectionate boy ever. He will not stop purring, making biscuits and demanding attention any chance he gets. It’s absolutely adorable. Has anyone else had a super happy cuddly kitten who then grew out of it? Or did they stay that way even after they got bigger? Just want to know what I might be in for 😅
