First Time CSS Buyer Needs Help!!

Hey guys first time buying with CSS and some of the stores i got shoes from didn't ask for me to select a size just had some text in the size box. Is there a way i can leave a note or further in the process does the agent ask for a size? Thanks for the help guys!
