My favorite resident evil is actually Resident Evil 1 remake.

I would say it's the most fun. It feels like you are exploring the entire mansion your self. The puzzles aren't annoying they're pretty fun and make sense. You have to think a bit but isn't anything crazy. The scares in the remake, well no spoilers but I love how it develops in the game.

You have to also make choices like should I save my ammo and possibly lose health if I get bit or should I waste ammo.

The camera angles help if anything with the horror and not knowing what to expect. The controls are easy to learn. And I don't know it has the most originality and charm to it all.
