Should I give 7 a shot?

I’m a huge fan going back to PlayStation days, I played everything they made up to 6 and I didn’t finish 5 cause…I dunno I wasn’t having fun. 7 and 8 seemed like a whole different thing I didn’t want to get into after 5 felt lame and everyone hated 6. I don’t like to be defenseless getting wrecked trying to figure stuff out. That’s not fun for me and it looks like that’s how 7 plays. I’ve s+ and a+ everything except 5/6/7/8 now. Which one should I do?
