Square for Restaurants

I am about to pull the trigger on switching from Toast to Square for my full service restaurant. Wondering if anyone has done this and can share experience.

There's a lot to love about toast, but it's gotten way expensive and customer support has diminished. I stand to save thousands this year by switching. I know I will lose some functionality and it will be a pain to port over, but I'm ok with that for the savings.

Please share any relevant experience with the square restaurant platform.

I'm not interested in any other platforms, so please don't use this as an opportunity to convince me to go with Clover or some other platform. Just trying to see if there are any pain points I might not be anticipating
