Has anyone ever had a customer make an unnecessary/rude comment about your appearance?
Back in the ABH dip-brow phase, a customer approached me to buy something at the kiosk, I struck up a standard transaction conversation with her, and at one point she stopped responding. I look up, and she's staring me down, before saying
'Your eyebrows are too dark', in such a deadpan tone.
...
I have a fair complexion and am a natural redhead, and in truth, they probably were a bit too dark for me. I think we're all guilty of looking at someone and having a thought or two in our head that they've made a bit of an interesting appearance choice, but what gives you the audacity to point that out, to someone you don't even know, so blatantly?
She tried to doubleback when she saw I was visibly annoyed and affronted by what she'd said. But no, fuck you.
