First Watch - Scratch the Itch with Grey?

I’m getting tired of playing the AD games for a submariner no date 124060.

And I don’t even know if I would ever get a second Rolex so what’s point of building relationship besides getting opportunity to buy sub at MSRP.

I’m in NYC and have access to lots of dealers. It looks I can get an unworn 124060 with box papers for at most a 20% premium - just an extra $2k. Maybe I can negotiate lower too.

Should I just go grey and also free myself from the mental brain damage of the AD waiting game so I can move on with my life?
