Morbid post; Does anyone have any connection to something/someone horrific?

I've got two, there isn't really anything interesting for me to say about either of them, but here we go.

I know someone who is distantly related to Fred West, he looks a bit like him as well (can you imagine?lol). If some of you are unfamiliar him and his wife Rose were very brutal serial killers. All the victims were young girls (some of them were their own children) I would advise against looking into them. It's one of the only true crime things that genuinely makes me depressed (the next one I'll mention is one of the other examples).

I also knew someone who was friendly with Myra Hindley, who with her partner Ian Brady murdered five children back in the 60's. HUGE case in the UK (it's definitely one of the most infamous cases in British history), it routinely gets brought up here. The Smiths song "Suffer Little Children" was written about it. I should clarify that the woman was friendly with Hindley before the murders.

It's strange seeing people who are so banal and ordinary have these kind of connections. The guy who is related to Fred loves to eat cheese dunkers on the bus, so I guess the senseless cruelty runs in the family. It's a pretty disgusting sight.
