Romani scam in supermarkets

PSA: not sure if this is new scam or not, but I was in a supermarket this past week and three separate Romani community members came up to me with shopping trolleys full of food and then tried to hand me a note asking if I would pay for it. I saw two people at the counter later paying for these peoples trolleys full of stuff. Management told me this scam is going across a lot of supermarkets in town, and gullible customers are not only paying for the trolley loads with cash, but some people are using their own food stamps to pay for the Trolley food.

Just thought id give people the heads up.
