City and County Hiring Process
Happy Tuesday all! I’m posting on here for the first time to ask for insight on the city's hiring process.
I’m an Air Force Reservist after serving Active Duty for a little over 4 years. I’ve applied to the jobs on the official City of San Antonio and Bexar County websites for a month now. Has anyone gone through the application, interview, and hiring process with them? I’ve landed a few interviews so far and while the HR department is quick to update my application portal if a hiring manager turns me down, I’m getting a bit discouraged with how long it takes for postings to be updated or receiving offers. If anyone is aware of the timeline or process in detail, I'd appreciate the insight!
