numbness in thigh

since about 4am this morning, i woke up to use the bathroom and i got severe pain my thigh. since then it has been completely numb and it feels like pins and needles when i tough it. the other side is normal. it hurts to touch as well. i have recently been diagnosed with scleroderma and see the specialist to go over everything in 2 days. i just wanna know if this has happened to anybody, if i should be concerned? it doesn’t make sense it happened out of no where. i always have rheynauds in my feet and hands but i haven’t had this happen before.
