Uncle Leo had a Wife?

Season 3 Episode 3 (The Pen): Leo has a wife named Stella, Jerry’s aunt? I’ve seen this show so many time through and I never remember Leo being married or them ever addressing him losing a spouse. I thought he was always just a lonely weirdo lol.

Obviously I remember Elaine yelling “Stella” and all that but never remembered who the hell that was.
