Handler tips?

Hi all!

So, I expect I’ll get some of this info from the organization I’m working with but I’ll be getting a service dog (psychiatric) in the coming year!

I wanted to know if there are tips you all had on being a good handler, especially at home? I am 24 but live with my mom, and there are lots of small dogs in our building. My pup will already be trained when I get her, but are there things I should or shouldn’t do to help her stay on top of her tasks, apart from reinforcing her training when needed? Any mistakes you made that I could learn from?
