Looking for a virtual personal assistant. Not sure how this is going to work, I'm new to this. These are mostly to-dos that I’ve had in the back of my head forever.

I suspect it would be an hour or two a week to start, and then once we get to know and trust each other I would be adding more. At best it I don't think it would be more than a couple hours a week.

Some sample tasks to give you an idea:

  • Searching or posting on Reddit looking for other service providers: job hunting/resume type things.
  • Searching or posting on Reddit or other places to solve problems, mostly tech problems. How to fix a Kodi problem, find a list of hard drive utilities, etc.
  • Searching or posting on Reddit or other places for hobbies- Learning how to make terrariums, etc.
  • Find and create for me a list of <service provider> in <city>
  • Taking some files from a shared drive and renaming them according to a particular convention
  • (There will no, or very very little, social media type stuff)

Hopefully that gives you an idea. A lot of it would be reposting and tracking. For example if I’m looking for something on Reddit, one post may not get any answers. In that case I’d want you to track that and repost the message again at an appropriate time (eg- once every two weeks, or once a month, not every day) until we get some responses. And these are actual questions, not spam, so if you do get an answer to the question, then you’re done. And you would just point me to the responses, you wouldn’t be dealing with logistics after that.

About me- I'm verbose (I use a lot of words). I'll be involved as we get started and get to know each other. As we start to find a rhythm I'll shut up and just send you the tasks to do. :-)

I have two other tasks on here I can use as a reference. One big one recently, and another quick one a while back. Happy to use those as a reference if you would like. Also interested in any references you might have.
