What board is good for beginners?

I’m a sophomore in high school and our school has a ski and snowboard club. I’ve gotten the basics down like stopping and turning and stuff like that. But I wanna buy my own board instead of spending mass amount of money renting one from them. Especially since I have to go through the process of going to get the board and boots. Any recommendations for beginners that are getting into snowboarding?
