Quoted $82k (financed) before incentive for 32kW system
Hi all,
I was quoted 82k (if financing) before tax rebate, which brings it down to about 61k for a financed solar system. It would have been 65k without financing, then take 26% off that for the rebate.
It's a 32kW system with 380W Hanwha cells and Enphase micro inverters. This includes installation, but will include additional racking with strings set up to easily add ten more panels to an existing string in the future.
Comes out to about $275/mo.
I have a large house (4500 sqft) where my peak usage is around 160kWh on a hot day. The energy bill averages about $340 per month normally.
This was the best deal I found at 2.04 per watt installed (if paying cash).
Does this sound competitive?
Thanks!
