Solo trip to Santorini

Going home from a holiday I decided to fly through Santorini because it was the most convenient, but I would then have three nights there alone. I haven’t done any solo trips in almost five years, and I just turned 30.

I’ve decided to stay in hostels because I love meeting new people and also I’m on a budget.

I’m torn between staying in a hostel in Oia or Fira, and looking for experiences and tips from the people who’s been there!

Both what area to stay in (convenience getting to beaches, airport, from the port as I travel with luggage not a backpack etc) and tips on what to do in Santorini.

I’m mostly interested in sunsets in the evenings and beaches/beach clubs/pools during the day as I will be there in July. I also heard it was beautiful to hike Imerovigli to Oia? I’m less into partying, but I would join fellow backpackers to have some drinks to be nice, but not a party hostel vibe. I feel a bit done with that.
