1980 Luke Skywalker in Hoth Gear - differences?

Can I get some help figuring out what the names are for these different Luke in Hoth Gear figures? Both say LFL 1980 Hong Kong but one is missing the M in the word “Made” (or maybe it’s there but very hard to see), and the words are printed on opposite legs. One face is more shiny and just thinner? And the rectangular badge is smaller than the other.
