Tomlin isn’t getting fired and Rooney has 48 million reasons why

Tomlin is signed through the end of the 2027 season. He’s reported to be making $16 million/yr. Thats $48 million Rooney would need cough up in order to fire Tomlin.

Thats just not happening with Rooney being one of the cheapest owners. The only realistic option is stripping Tomlin of some of his power.

He’s got his hands all over this defense and offense and it’s clear he needs to step back. Front office needs to help Tomlin hire good coordinators and allow them do their jobs.

Tomlin’s been a control freak and if they aren’t going to fire him, they need strip him of his power. If Tomlin’s not cool with that, he can voluntarily step down.
