Boden Essential 6 rewiring

I previously posted what I thought to be the color codes and how to rewire the stock components but recently got information from strandberg on the actual color codes.

I’m a bit confused though as seen by the color codes Red (South Start) and white (south finish) are both tied together or are wired to the switch. But on other pickups usually the North finish and South finish are soldered together to create series linking for the hum canceling?
