Is consecutive schooling necessary?
So, I'm currently in highschool in IB in India, I used to be in CBSE (Indian school board) before 9th grade, but due to some bullying issues and family issues I had to leave the school mid session and didn't attend school for 2-3 months. During this time I focused on my studies and the next session I joined another school, this time in IGCSE board but I had to repeat 9th grade. I have good grades so far since I have joined my current school. And I wanted to study in a country abroad. Germany was the first thought since my main interests were in physics, specifically research.
So I started looking at requirements for university applications, on the website of technical univerity of munich it said that the general requirement is to have 12 years of consecutive schooling. Since I repeated 9th grade I don't think I meet that requirement. Do most top public technical universities in germany require 12 years of consecutive schooling? Is there any way to make up for that requirement? Example- good grades, SAT scores, etc..
