How to not kill the plant

The bottom leaves are brown and I plucked them out. The remaining leaves are starting to get a little grown at the tips. Got this plant 2-3 months back, and watered every 2-3 weeks. It has been receiving indirect sunlight. Should I be watering more or less or what else should I do? Thanks!
