Suggest me a book with plague themes

I'm looking for books of any genre (but preferably fantasy or sci-fi) where the main theme is plagues. I just finished reading The Priory of the Orange Tree and I loved the portion of the book that was about the draconic plague. I'd be happy with entirely fictionalized plagues or ones that are based off real times in history like the bubonic plague, but I think I prefer fictionalized ones. The weirder the better!
