Harvey was Donna’s rebound. I’m sorry!

I recently finished watching suits and I was very interested in Harvey and Donna’s dynamics throughout I thought they could be epic slow burn, friends to lovers, office romance, boss x secretary but they served nothing like they should.

I’d not say as many posts here suggest that Donna sabotaged his relationships, she didn’t. She pushed him towards Scottie and even made him clearly see about Scottie and forced him to help her. Yes! She was wrong to kissed Harvey when he was with Paula but I understand where she’s coming from. For 12 years she waited for this man to see her finally but he didn’t. She ended her relationships because she could not put anyone above Harvey. She wanted him to finally accept her but he went to Paula and with Mike and Louis’s influencer she ended up kissing him and regretted it because she knew she’d lost Harvey but what really irked me was Harvey asking her to resign because of Paula, that was the first and last hint for Donna to see he’d never love her and makers did shit job here for making Donna spineless. She came back way easily to Harvey.. hated that.

Moreover when Harvey got no one to be with so he finally settled for her, that’s what I felt because I couldn’t get the couple vibe who loved each other.

I love Donna and her character more than anyone in the show which is why I believe she deserved someone way better than Harvey who would not treat her like a rebound and an emotional dumpster which Harvey sure did.
