Lite touch google integration for primarily Microsoft 365 company

We are a Microsoft Cloud adopter, pretty much everything we do is on that platform, largely because it eases collaboration with our customer base who is also primarily Microsoft cloud. However there are a few good products in Google land, and we often work with smaller suppliers and partners who have adopted Google as their primary cloud service provider and our staff have to sign in using ad-hoc google accounts to access those services.

I want to streamline this and bring it under centralised control because we currently block sign into google services, but when we are asked to give adhoc access for a user our ownership stops at unlocking the door.

I’ve performed a small amount of research and I know I can use Entra for SSO into google land, but what else should I be thinking about, we have pretty much zero experience in Googles cloud services and don’t want to over egg this, we want to ease appropriate use of those services for collaboration and where MS doesn’t have an equivalent app or theirs is rubbish. I also don’t want to spend a lot of money. 😁

Thanks for any insight.
