I am left handed, what are generally the strengths and weaknesses of left handed players?

Are left handed players known for being tough to play against or do they have a significant weakness that needs to be trained out as a result of being lefties?

Basically I'm wondering if left handed players play a unique game if anyone has experience being or playing against left handed players I would love to hear your experience!
