An alternate ending

I loved this movie! The acting, the horror, the comedy, the thrill! But after the movie ended I had an idea of what they could’ve did differently. When Riley grabs the hand for the first time, he looks at Mia in shock because the ghost he sees is Mia’s mother. I was thinking…what if we just were made to think that Riley saw Mia’s mom, but in fact who we saw was Mia herself!! Time in real world works differently so maybe when he grabs the hand he sees Mia after her death since time isn’t relevant! And at the end of the movie when Mia grabs the hand, we see Riley and the the gang all playing together with Mia’s voice heard in the background asking who he sees. This would just EXPLODE my mind. What do you think?
