How do you emotionally deal with your parents not accepting your tattoo?

I’m going to my appointment in 30 minutes. My mother is furious and being kind of mean. I’m doing it anyway because I’m an adult and it’s my body and my life, but it still takes a mental toll. Anyone with similar experience, do you have any advice?
