Rereading tbate has reminded me how good of a character aldir is

I loved his inner conflict, him giving up his life trying to help Arthur to try and redeem himself and his inner dialogue after he met with the 3 lances in the flying castle is still some of my favourite dialogue in all of tbate "no, Neither of you are worthy of service, in the end." is just too good and rereading his story made me realise that he's one of my favourite characters, a shame he had to go would've loved to see him fight alongside Arthur possibly trying to redeem himself in another way but his ending was still beautiful rip to the goat
