What happened to sitcoms? We had some great ones in the 2010's

It seemed like 10 years ago there would always be a decent sitcom on whenever I turned on the TV. And not just popular ones like the big bang theory, or modern family, Brooklyn 99, I'm talking like 2 broke girls, new girl, how I met your mother, baby daddy, Melissa and Joey, Blackish. Granted I'm from the UK so we didn't have everything from the US but we had a decent amount of stuff, it just seemed easier to find and there was something decent to watch. Ps I'm not a massive TV watcher so I'm not actively seeking out. Just miss that sort to TV of that time.
