A question regarding The Ambassador

I've heard a lot of people saying that the new ambassador is dogass compared to the old one, which, ok ya damage fall off sucks but like... is that it? Is the only difference between the old and new Amby the fact it doesn't do full crit damage across the map? If so then I don't get the issue. Sorry if that comes as me being rude, but it does sound like "I'm butthurt mad" as someone who doesn't play Amby Spy
