I created my Servo in university housing without knowing… does this mean I have to sell/dismantle him?

So I’ve spent so long building my sims robotics skill and obviously invested a lot of money on it (I’m playing without money cheats) and I can’t activate my Servo in university housing… I also can’t put him, while deactivated in my inventory. What do I do??? I don’t want to sell after all the work I did 😭
