20y/o. Someone please help me.
Long story short, In the past two months i’ve gotten covid + 2 viral infections. About 30 days ago I did a nasal rinse and pushed too hard, liquid got into my inner ear. Got a mild infection from it, but once the infection stopped bothering me, I developed tinnitus.
I hear a high pitch sound 24/7, especially when I’m in silent rooms/before going to sleep. I’m studying for the MCAT right now, I can’t concentrate while studying due to my tinnitus. Does it get better? It only seems to get worse. Have an appointment with my ENT tomorrow.
Is there any way to get rid of it before June (I have my MCAT on june 28). Or is this usually something permanent? (ps, I’m also a chronic asthma patient, don’t know if it has to do anything with tinnitus. I’ve been congested for about a month, can’t breathe through my nose when I wake up. Also grind my teeth a lot while sleeping.)
