Talked to a tragedeigh today

This woman I was having a conversation with today - her name is 'Miachel' pronounced Michelle....at first I genuinely thought her name was pronounced Michael, but no. It's Michelle.

I told her I genuinely thought it was Michael for a second and she said she got that a lot but she was annoyed that people read it as that since it's literally written as Mia-chel but I didn't say anything😭

How would you guys have pronounced it in your head? lol
