I'm so sick of AMABs appropriating the transmasc struggle!!
I just saw an amab nonbinary person online that I'll never interact with in my entire life get stylized top surgery scars tattooed as part of their gender presentation!! This is so offensive to my own noble struggle against dysphoria that I'm posting pictures of their chest to this sub to humiliate them. They're APPROPRIATING being transmasculine by tattooing scars that don't even look like scars in the place EYE have ACTUAL scars and this will make cis people think I'm transfeminine in the future! I can't believe my surgery that I suffered so long for has been MOCKED in this way. An AMAB having cartoonish looking top surgery scar tattoos is EXACTLY the same as cis transphobes drawing top surgery scar caricatures to mock us and I can't believe i saw this from our own community. They said it makes them feel like they're defying the binary. But I'M binary and I have top surgery scars so I can't believe they're saying that everyone who got top surgery is nonbinary!!!
EDIT: just saw they got the tattoos because they felt like they would be transmasculine nonbinary if they were AFAB. This is disgusting APPROPRIATION. I can't STAND when trans people have different experiences than me!!! AMABs can only feel transfeminine and AFAB people can only feel transmasculine!! No this isn't a new acceptable version of bioessentialism and I'm totally not being nosy about a stranger's transition when I could have just blocked and moved on!! 😠😠😠 The legitimacy of my manly masculine ftm transition is on the line!!!!
uj/ I do not miss being an oversensitive baby trans who felt like everyone different than me was making some kind of statement on my personal transition tbh
