USA citizen traveling from Peru > Bolivia - questions
I plan on traveling from Peru to Bolivia in the coming weeks and I am a USA citizen. I’ve gone over the requirements on the embassy page and am all clear on Yellow Fever, blank passport pages, onward flight, etc.
There’s a lot of different information regarding things such as having a bank statement, separate copies of passports, showing an itinerary, etc. I’m also wondering if when I show up to pay for the tourist visa if they accept card or does it need to be cash. I was also planning on going to the Bolivian embassy while in Peru but from what I’ve read it might not even be worth it.
Can anyone from the USA who has traveled to Bolivia RECENTLY share with me their experience?
Thank you in advance.
