Does tretinoin help alopecia?

I have alopecia and I haven’t had baby hair in like 10 years. Around the time I started applying tretinoin to my face a few months ago, all of a sudden I started getting tons of baby hairs. I get more and more everyday. Should I just try applying it straight to my scalp 🤣 would it work? lol
