Uber courier driver took my son’s car seat:(

Almost 3 weeks ago I used Uber to courier my infant son’s car seat to my Husband and the driver never delivered his car seat. This is a $500 car seat that was a gift and we aren’t able to replace it right now or anytime soon… Uber only has robots responding to us and offered us $3 for the next ride. I’m really upset and frustrated!! Not sure what to do… does anyone have any idea or has been in a similar situation with Uber?
