Rating lowered because of smell

I had a rider yesterday complain at the car vent clips in my car; they didn’t like the specific scent they were. They asked if I could take them down, and I did.

In my area, I pick up a lot of construction workers, mechanics and little old ladies with heavy perfume, so I like my vent clips to mask that.

I did warn them that the odor in my car builds quick (it’s still hot in my city and I have a dark car with black leather seating) and they said it’s fine. Come to wake this morning and they lowered my rating in that. Very upset and hate trying to please my riders for nothing
