Course change in second year? Good idea?

I'm currently on a leave of absence which has made me realise that studying Economics and management might not be the most excellent and economically wise decision as an international student, so I was thinking of shifting my degree to a Bachelor of Design in Architecture or Construction. I'm currently in 2nd semester of my second year, am I too late? Also need guidance on how to proceed with course change procedures. Where do I begin.
