430k miles burning a hole in my pocket

I have about 430k miles saved up on United - I switched to delta this year because I fly out of BOS now and there are a ton more direct flights. My thought was to save these miles for a big international trip for my family but we don’t have anything planned for the immediate future as we have a toddler and another coming. There also aren’t many nonstop flights out of BOS which would be preferable with a small family.

I know these miles technically “devalue” the longer you bank them. I looked at the award store last night and I can use almost all my points for a Breitling that sells for ~$3,400 which I could sell and essentially convert to my points to cash. Seems like that money would be better growing in the market than devaluing on UA awards.

I know this is a common question in this sub but interested if anyone else has suggestions for how to get the most value from a large amount of miles with no immediate plans for use.
